Off-Grid Energy Independence for a Coastal Off-the-Grid Island
Shine Construction partnered on a unique Coastal Island Off-Grid Solar Project to create a fully energy-independent solution for a recreational fish camp. The island previously relied on hauling fuel for gas generators, which was labor-intensive, noisy, and disruptive to the serene environment. Shine Construction designed and installed a 6 kW solar system with 20 kWh of battery backup to provide clean, reliable power for air conditioning, refrigeration, and other modern amenities.
Our team approached this off-grid project with a fully integrated solution, combining expertise in solar power and electrical systems to meet the unique needs of the property. Built entirely in-house, the system eliminates reliance on fossil fuels while providing consistent energy for all essential operations.
This project underscores Shine Construction’s ability to deliver innovative, sustainable energy solutions tailored to remote and challenging environments. The island now enjoys a quiet, eco-friendly power source, allowing its owners to fully embrace the tranquility of their coastal retreat.
